music that is enjoyed while tripping - hard. Not just lightly buzzed, but face dripping, reality crashing in high. Only the GD could really hold my attention in that state of mind...as they invaded my mind when it was in that state.
After my first "experience" with psychedelics my music collection took a 180 degree turn-around. Gone was the jerky boy pussy chasing jock rock garbage of the 70's. Country Joe and the Fish and Jefferson Airplane and The GD took over my collection. Out was Led Zep and Journey and Boston and Cheap Trick and BOC etc. Brainless angry misogynist schlock rock was just not doing it anymore..ie Ted Nugent. I always did consider his music as Dumb-ass music - to quote Red. People to whom a big hit of LSD was terrifying as they had so little to hold onto as it was, and to have it ripped away from them would be too much for them to handle....
